Common faults and troubleshooting methods of LED moving head lights


1.Focusing position (zoom position)
1. The sliding rod of the focusing mirror is too tight. You can try applying an appropriate amount of   lubricating oil to the guide rod
2. Motor wire breakage can be resolved by replacing the motor wire
3. The focusing motor is broken, which can be solved by replacing the motor
4. Circuit board failure can be resolved by replacing the circuit board

 

2. Flashing position (cannot be turned off or closed)

1. The strobe belt is too tight, you can try adjusting the tightness of the strobe belt
2. Motor wire breakage can be resolved by replacing the motor wire
3. The strobe motor is broken, which can be solved by replacing the strobe motor

 

3. Automatic lamp extinguishing (overheat protection)

1. If there is a malfunction with the blower (or fan), it can be resolved by replacing the blower (or fan)
2. Circuit board failure can be resolved by replacing the circuit board

 

4.Pattern disk is easy to move

 1. If the pattern disc touches other parts at the edge, you can try adjusting the position of the pattern disc
2. Motor wire breakage can be resolved by replacing the motor wire
3. If the pressure wheel is too tight, you can try adjusting the position and tightness of the pressure wheel
4. Circuit board failure can be resolved by replacing the circuit board

 

5.CMY

1. The headless screw is not tightened, it is recommended to tighten the headless screw
2. The CMY guide rod is tightly connected to the pulley. You can try applying an appropriate amount of lubricating oil and adjusting the position
3. Circuit board failure can be resolved by replacing the circuit board

 

6.Power on collision noise

1. The position of the magnetic sensor and magnet has not been adjusted properly. You can try opening the chassis to adjust the position of the magnetic sensor
2. If the magnetic sensitive connecting wire is broken (or damaged), it can be solved by replacing the magnetic sensitive connecting wire (or magnetic sensitive)
3. Scan board malfunction can be resolved by replacing the scan board

 

7.Poor wireless reception

1. Without an antenna, it can be solved by replacing the antenna
2. Wireless circuit board failure can be resolved by replacing the wireless circuit board
3. Display board malfunction can be resolved by replacing the display board

 

8.Scan card

1. The belt is loose, you can try adjusting the tightness of the belt
2. Motor wire breakage can be resolved by replacing the motor wire
3. The photoelectric switch has not been properly adjusted. You can try adjusting the position of the photoelectric switch
4. If the input voltage is too low, you can try adjusting the input voltage
5. The scanning motor is broken, which can be solved by replacing the motor

 

9,The fan is not turning

1. The fan is burnt out, which can be solved by replacing the fan
2. Circuit board failure can be resolved by replacing the circuit board

 

10.No display when powered on

1. Display board malfunction can be resolved by replacing the display board
2. If the program IC is faulty, it can be resolved by replacing the program IC
3. Switching power supply failure can be resolved by replacing the switching power supply

 

11.not lit. brighten up the bubble

1. If the light bulb is broken, it can be solved by replacing it with a new one
2. If the high-frequency wire is broken, it can be solved by replacing the high-frequency wire
3. If the ballast (or trigger) is broken, it can be solved by replacing the ballast (or trigger)
4. Circuit board failure can be resolved by replacing the circuit board
5. If the light bulb is too hot, you can cut off the power and turn on the bulb after it cools down.

 

12.Self check error (self check time too long)

1. If the motor wire is broken, the broken wire can be found and replaced based on the error message
2. If the program IC is faulty, it can be resolved by replacing the program IC
3. Circuit board failure can be resolved by replacing the circuit board

 

13.Scan stationary (XY axis stationary)

1. The scanning board fuse is burnt out, which can be resolved through the fuse
2. If the program IC is faulty, it can be resolved by replacing the program IC
3. If there is a circuit board malfunction, it can be resolved by replacing the circuit board without a power indicator light

 

14.dead (of batteries)

1. Check if the insurance is burnt out, which can be resolved by replacing the insurance.
2. Circuit board failure can be resolved by replacing the circuit board
3. If the switch power supply/transformer is damaged, it can be resolved by replacing the switch power supply/transformer

 

15.Interference (lights flashing randomly)

1. Poor signal line can be solved by replacing the signal line with a new one
2. The transmission signal line is too long, which can be solved by reallocating the signal transmission distance
3. If the signal IC is damaged, it can be resolved by replacing the signal IC
